Nearby Beaches in San Diego Include:

Del Mar City Beach

The northern half of Del Mar City Beach is arguably the best beach in San Diego. It offers a fantasyland of dream houses, accessible swimming, intermediate surf, and easy beach access at every block. However, plan an early arrival to this northern San Diego beach – parking is very limited. South of 15th Street, bluffs line the beach. San Diego guests can use the beach, but most prefer the northern zone.

Torrey Pines State Beach

Torrey Pines sprawls 3 miles long, and offers bathrooms, showers, and lifeguards for a safe San Diego beach for the family. The high road leads to a coastal wilderness of pine forests and hiking trails on the bluff overlooking this beach in San Diego. While almost everything in Torrey Pines is protected, the San Diego beach is well covered by sand, offering a beautiful beach retreat for families, couples, or singles.

La Jolla Shores

On a warm summer’s day, La Jolla Beach in San Diego is a popular swimming area for families, who set-up elaborate camps on the grassy park area. Small boats can be launched directly into the sea from Avenida De La Playa.
